For Sale or Trade 190SL finished in black with red leather interior and serviceable tan convertible top. This 190sl was purchased by the current owner in 1984, so he's had it as a summertime casual driving car for nearly 40 years. Car comes with the original "Instruction Manual" from 1957, a detailed 52-page guide of operating instructions, maintenance, emergency repair and technical data. The car also comes with the original 1957 "Catalog B", which includes preliminary remarks, index of illustrations, tables of engine parts, tables of chassis parts, and body spare parts. On page 7, there is the Motor Number "7501626" written and on page 11 it has the original inscription with: - Engine Number: 7501626 - Chassis Number: 7501610 - Door Key Number: A-036 - Ignition Key Number: F-066 - Luggage room (the trunk) Key Number: SR117 Also includes the original Becker Europa radio operating instructions booklet and Becker Autoradio Service booklet. For ownership history, our records date back to July 1985, when Mr. Kaloust of Gloucester, Massachusetts sold the car to the current owner, who lived in Bedford, New Hampshire at the time. Mr. Kaloust had reportedly owned the car for about 5-6 years, having bought from a Massachusetts neighbor who was presumably the original owner of the car. The first service records we have date is June 24, 1985 when Mr. Kaloust had the car serviced at Gauthier Motors, presumably to ready it for the sale to the current owner on July 2, 1985. From there, there are nearly 30 receipts across 5 decades to current day. For ownership records, we have near complete set of New Hampshire and then Maine (after current owner moved) annual registration certificates. The car starts, runs and drives but due to health reasons the car has not been driven much in the past 5-6 years, so it will benefit from some more regular exercise.
